2005 Jeep Liberty
In reverence to its heritage, the 2005 Jeep Liberty continues to provide its
enthusiasts with the best four-wheel-drive vehicle lineup in its segment. These
4x4 models are Trail Rated--meaning, they have met or even exceeded the requirements
set by the Nevada Automotive Test Center (NATC) and Jeep Engineering. True to
its commitment to performance, Liberty is among those SUVs that could clearly
prove its exceptional on-road and legendary off-road ride and capability.

For 2005, a 2.8-liter that allows 160 hp at 3800 rpm common rail diesel (CRD)
engine will be offered for the very first time in the United States and Canada.
This new engine make-up will be available for both trims, the Sport and Limited
models and is sure to provide increased torque, power, and range. Meanwhile, the
Renegade comes in restyled and repackaged for 2005 as it becomes the Liberty image
leader and thereby vividly creates a more rugged and classic Jeep appearance.
The coming year will be another milestone to reach for Jeep Liberty as it offers
freshened exterior and refined interior designs. Power-up comfort, durability,
stance, and effective performance are important concerns for Liberty's enthusiasts
yet with this model year, they'll never have a flick of a second to turn their
backs away from this SUV as this caters to a complete host of effective features.
